For nearly 20 years, the classical concerts at Mozarthaus Vienna have been representing an important part of the cultural program of the city. Since then, the most beautiful melodies of classical composers like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn and Ludwig van Beethoven have filled the small concert room with musical delight. The virtuosic quartet "Mozart Ensemble" performs in historic costumes, and thus provides an incredibly authentic experience, since also the concert room which had been built in the 12th century is decorated with historic ornaments. Even Mozart himself appreciated the intimate atmosphere of the concert room when he performed here repeatedly in 1781.
Mozart Ensemble - String quartet (2 Violin, Viola and Cello): The string quartet plays divertimenti, serenades and the most beautiful quartets written by Mozart, Haydn, Schubert and Beethoven.

Mozart Ensemble - Piano Trio (Violin, Piano & Cello):
At the piano trio concert you can enjoy famous trios from the Vienna Classic Period and breathtaking solo pieces for piano, violin and cello by Chopin, Liszt, Bach, Schubert and many others.
