On February 17th, 2024, the sound of „Let’s waltz!” will finally echo through the magnificient halls of Kursalon Hübner again. For the 15th time, Sound of Vienna invites you to the annual Johann Strauss Ball: a glamorous gala evening entirely dedicated to the Viennese ball tradition and the Waltz King Johann Strauss II himself.
Based on this year’s theme „An der schönen blauen Donau” (The Blue Danube) you can expect to be part of a varied and lively evening, full of entertaining program highlights: After the ball opening by the renowned Salonorchester Alt Wien and the dance performance by the debutant couples, you can dance to classical waltz tones and the lively beats of our live band, or swing to the latest hits in the DJ lounge area. The waltz workshop, the midnight show, the classic midnight quadrille and the (optional) gala dinner will make the ball night an entertaining and unforgettable experience.

About the halls: The opening ceremony as well as the midnight show (incl. the traditional midnight quadrille) will take place in the central "Strauss" hall in the ground floor. The side halls "Schubert" and "Lehar" are situated directly next to the "Strauss" hall. The modern lounge area, where also the waltz workshop will be held, will be located in the 2nd floor of Kursalon ("Lanner" hall).
