Enjoy the unique Salzburg experience as you listen to Mozart's and Vivaldi's masterpieces performed by Ensemble 1756. Set into the beautiful Marble Hall of Salzburg's Mirabell Castle it really brings out the best of what "Mozart City" has to offer.
Ensemble 1756, commemorating Mozart's birthdate with its name, was created in 2006. World-class musicians perform classical music in the baroque style using musical instruments of the actual baroque era.
The venue is considered to be one of the most prominent and historically important concert halls in Salzburg as well as all over the world. It is said that, in former times, the Mozart family performed their music there for the archbishops.
