The Requiem Mass in D minor is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's final work, around which a variety of legends revolve. It is said, that Mozart sang the famous and beautiful "Lacrimosa" with his friends on his deathbed.
The performance is supposedly based on the Requiem's world premiere in 1756.
