About the event:
Journey back into the 17th century and get a glimpse of how it felt to be treated like royalty.
Using your own audio guide take a tour of the Palace whenever you please. Wander around one of Europe's most famous palaces and explore the rooms which used to house Vienna's most prominent emperors every summer.
Afterwards, take a short walk through the palace gardens to the glamorous Orangery where the concert will take place. Since the imperial times, this was a venue for courtly festivities. It also served as the setting for the notorious music contest between Mozart and Salieri.
Listen to the masterpieces composed by W. A. Mozart and Johann Strauss, such as "The Magic Flute" or the "The Blue Danube". Performed by the world-renowned Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra or Schönbrunn Palace Ensemble and accompanied by two opera soloists alongside a pair of ballerinas the concert really is a treat for the ears as well as the eyes.
