The Vienna Residence Orchestra upholds the compositions of the Viennese classicism as well as the highlights of the so called "Golden era of Viennese operetta". The most beautiful pieces of Vienna's musical geniuses are presented in 90 masterful minutes. Accompanied by well-known opera singers and ballet dancers, the orchestra surpasses the expectations of the most demanding music lovers.

What other guests said:

"The acoustics of Auersperg palace are excellent and the orchestra, even though quite small, provide a great deal of wonderful sound. We didn't know that there would be some ballet dancers and great singers as well. Very nice performance with truly exceptional musicians."

"The Residence Orchestra and the dancers were great. It was performed in an old palace with the surrounds moving one back in time. The concert was nearly sold out. During intermission there is time for a glass of champagne. The second half of the program consisted mainly of Strauss and even the Radetzky march was played. A grand highlight of our days in Vienna."

"The concert far exceeded our expectations. The musicians were extremely talented - the flutist was the best we have ever heard. The lead violinist played on a Stradivarius from the 1700's; his ability was commensurate with his instrument. In addition to the musicians, there were also opera singers & ballet dancers accompanying a few of the selections. Overall, it was outstanding, and should not be missed."
